Are you facing these problems too?

  • Do you have guards on patrol at your site — and any way to prove they actually walked every route?
  • At 2 a.m., is he really patrolling — or asleep in a corner? Without a record, you simply cannot tell.
  • Fences and far corners are a long walk away — “I could not reach it” becomes the excuse. Long-range reading logs them from metres off.

Is this the right system for you?

  • Fences and vehicle gates are too far to touch on every round.
  • Remote points tend to be “forgotten” — long-range reading makes that visible.
  • Your weather is cold or wet and taking gloves off to touch tags is slow.

1
Shift start

The guard reads his own guard key to record identity and shift start time.

2
Patrol the route

Along the route, the reader senses each checkpoint. Every scan is time-stamped and cannot be forged.

3
Shift handover

The incoming guard reads his own guard key — the whole shift is accountable by name.

4
Upload & reports

After the patrol, place the reader on the communication base and extract the data in the software manually. Managers get route, time, personnel and event reports.

Checkpoint buttons and guard keys

Everything above is the reader and the software. These two parts are what is actually screwed to the wall and carried in a pocket — and they decide whether the records are worth anything.

RFID guard key

One per guard. Every round he logs is stamped with this tag — the same route, but now the record says who walked it.

  • ✓Passive 125 kHz tag in a yellow keyring fob: clip it to a belt loop or lanyard, nothing to charge.
  • ✓36 × 28 × 6 mm — small enough to carry all shift without noticing.
  • ✓The serial is fixed in the chip, so one guard cannot lend his key to a colleague and have it read as his own round.
  • ✓Lost or broken? Issue a new key and bind it to the same guard — the checkpoints stay where they are.
